Easter Egg Stand DiY

I’m going to make an Egg stand with Dollar Tree Items, some paint and wax. This fun Easter tray will be great on any table - especially for my Easter centerpiece.
Check out how easy this is I also have a Youtube video for all the quick details!
Here is my Youtube video if you want to watch the whole process.
What you’ll need for this beauty:
Egg tray (Dollar Tree)
glass candle stick ( Dollar Tree)
plastic eggs
raffia
boxwood
Annie Sloan wax (dark)
White paint and a can of black spray paint
Here are all the supplies needed for tray and and cute decor you’ll want to fill the center see my other tutorials on how I made the carrot and bunnies you can also use colored eggs you can also Mode podge the eggs for more color
Take your egg tray and candle stick outside or to a well Ventilated area
Spray all sides with black flat paint I just use Home Depot $1.49 cheap can of black
Then using your white dry brush both of them with white paint (I didn’t cover all the black but a good fuller coverage)
Do the same on both side to egg tray
After white is fully dry will use the dark wax. You can use a rag or brush to cover its like shoe polish whip all over
I did the same to candle stick then I added a raffia bow to it
Add e6000 glue to top and a few drops of hot glue if you want a fast hold. That will hold it till the E6000 drys that will take 24 hours
Press down and that hot glue will hold now you can decorate any way you like here is mine
I added two chocolate looking bunnies one I spray painted with silver to make it look like the foil the other one I left in the chocolate color I added a wooden carrot you can see in previous tutorials on how I did that I did Vinyl a couple of my eggs to give him a Rae Dunn feel
And a chick and some greens and you have the perfect Easter centerpiece!
Love how this came out!
With the candle holder it gives it the perfect height see more beautiful diy on my YouTube channel Gilbert Marketplace
