If u have a baby mattress not in use u could put a protective mattress cover over it. I would then sew together some of the rag rugs to cover both sides and put buttons or large snap closure to take on and off to wash and I think that would make a nice pillow to lounge on the deck for u, kids or even the dog! Just an idea...

Another idea - I like to use these types of rugs, i.e. "rag" rugs, southwest/indian motif, etc., to cover benches or chairs.
