Fall Planter Box Centerpiece

A few months ago I made a rustic wood planter box (you can check out my tutorial for that if you want to recreate it) that I use as a centerpiece on our table. I usually keep it very simple and fill it with three faux rosemary plants.
The other day I was browsing through the craft store and I noticed some beautiful fall planters. I was tempted to purchase one but I was not in love with the high price tag! I remembered about the planter box I had at home and was inspired to recreate the look. I picked up a couple fall vines from the dollar store and by using supplies I already had I was able to make my own centerpiece for only a few dollars. I love how it turned out and I am looking forward to changing it up again each season.
For this super simple and easy project, you will need some type of box or container, a few faux potted plants, fall vines, and several small pumpkins.
I like to use faux potted plants in these arrangements as the base because they fill up a lot of the planter and are easy to work around. It’s easy to get carried away and add too many pieces resulting in a cluttered looking arrangement. To me simpler is usually better.
I placed the three faux rosemary plants equally spaced in the planter.
I then took one of the vines and looped it around the potted plants.
Then I took the second vine and did the same thing working in the opposite direction.
To finish off my planter I filled any bare spots with extra leaves I had from previous projects and a few mini pumpkins. If you want this to be a permanent piece I would recommend using hot glue to secure the arrangement.
I love all of the different textures and fall colours in this arrangement. The best part is that it was super easy and quick to make, yet makes a big statement.
This has me getting excited for fall and I’m looking forward to slowly adding more fall decor to my home over the next few months.

I made my box out of cardboard then covered with wood blind slats I had! Then added trim left over from my valance. Your right I went overboard for Fall decor! But once Holidays are over, I'll tone it down! Yours is simple and pretty!
