Hi Dustin: I find a lot of vintage baubles at estate sales. If you go to estatesales.net, you can find estate sales in your area and even pictures of what's for sale in most cases :) We usually just call them Christmas bulbs :) My favourites are the ones that look like candles and there is a liquid inside the candle part and bubbles :) When I was a child, we had them on the tree and I was fascinated by them :)
Look on eBay and other sites, Charity shops and Auctions is my best bet!
Wondering what makes them unique. I’ve never thought about them being different.
I was at the Salvation Army yesterday and they had a ton of Christmas decorations and beautiful Christmas Cards too.
I'm not a collector of "ornaments" (what our family calls them) but I see them for sale at estate and garage sales and at many of the second-hand stores in our area in AZ as many older residents downsize to smaller homes or are in need of assisted care. Many of the ornaments are beautiful and very unique made from glass. Enjoy the fun of the hunt to add to your collection.
Hi Dustin, I don't collect them but I have seen a lot of them in original packages in thrift shops! You can also look at yard sales and rummage sales
I’ve seen some really great ones at antique malls and if vintage isn’t your main focus, makers markets are great for handmade artisan ones.
