Has Anyone Tried Beaded Christmas Decorations?

I’ve always been fascinated by beaded Christmas decorations. They look so elegant and unique! Has anyone made their own?
I’d love to hear your ideas or get some tips for starting a beaded tree or ornament project.

Hi Sarah: My grandmother used to make these. She would get a foam ball and stick beads on it with really long straight pins that had coloured heads. They were gorgeous! Here's a site that has several of them: https://www.allfreechristmascrafts.com/Beaded-Christmas-Ornament-Crafts/Beaded-Ornament-Patterns
Happy crafting
I've not create beaded Christmas ornaments but long ago had a friend who made them and they were each a piece of art. She used styrofoam balls, lengthy stick pins and different sized beads. It's quite a time-consuming hobby but she really enjoyed making them for family, friends, and co-workers. Go for it!
Yes, using pins to hold them on to foam ball or shape!
I did a beaded cross stitch and had tons of beads left over. I used the smaller ones with the hole big enough for a straight pin. I did mine in gold and red. It took forever so get started in February LOL
Clear plastic ornaments. E6000 or super glue. Beads. Glue the beads onto the ornaments. E6000 waiting time to dry. Super glue immediate satisfaction.
There's a lady name Cara Brown who was making them for Neiman Marcus that were stunning, made of heirloom jewelry. You can see some of her work on the Homeworthy Channel video on YouTube. Video is called: CHRISTMAS HOME TOUR | An Old-World Stone Cottage Filled with Holiday Decor

There are likely as many ways to do this as there are beads! Start with a form, a ball or shape, and depending on the beads and form, either glue, tack, or pin the beads on.
I was thinking this would be a beautiful way to make garland, out of beads. I've had good luck using hot glue in the past with beads.
