How to get bleach stains out of carpet?
How to get bleach stains out of carpet?

Hi everyone!
We recently had a little accident with bleach on the already stained carpets in our one bedroom, and now we are left with unsightly bleach stains.
I've been searching for solutions online, but I'm finding mixed advice and would love to hear from anyone who has successfully dealt with this issue before.
Any advice on products, techniques, or DIY remedies would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you

Honestly, I don't think a bleach stain can be removed, bleach works by removing the pigment, so that is what you'll have to replace.
If the stain is very fresh, you might have a chance at lessening the damage, blot it up using water, then blot with water and a small amount of dish soap or vinegar. You can also try a paste of baking soda and water.
If the stain is set, you can try to match the color with either a crayon or paint. Maybe even consider cutting and patching the carpet.
Best to you.
Since bleach is the removal of color instead of a stain, you can only try to dye to match or cover it.
Bleach removes color. No way to get rid of bleach stains. Best solution is use craft fabric paints. Get a few colors close to what your carpet is. Mix, water down the paint and dry brush the stains. Try in a inconspicuous spot first like a closet. Let it dry before hitting the stains.
I used tea to "restain" my carpet when I did the same thing several years ago. You can also patch the carpet by gluing a piece in the stained spots.
The only way would be to dye the carpet.
So bleach removes color. There's really no way to clean it out of the carpet or remove the stain. You could consult a professional carpet cleaner they may have a fix for you or a way to camoflauge or stain that area that will last.
The only thing you could do is to find a fabric dye them same colour as your carpet and try that!
I’d try some fabric dye thinned with water to try and match the color to re-dye the carpet. Pick a dye that works on the material composition or of your carpet.
I had the same thing happen to me after looking over all the advice I was given I decided to take a patch of carpet from a closet and swap them you can blend it right you’ll never even tell it’s a patch just make sure it’s secure and blended of course you’d going to have a closet with a bleach stain now but better than being in a noticeable area hope this helps good luck
Since it most likely won't come out what about throw rugs or an area rug to cover it?
