DIY Thanksgiving hostess gift ideas
Thanksgiving Hostess Gift Ideas (homemade if possible) please?

I’m looking for some creative, homemade gift ideas to thank my Thanksgiving hosts this year.
I'd love to hear what DIY gifts others have tried or plan to make for their hosts.
Any ideas for meaningful, or playful homemade gifts that will stand out?

Hi Danielle: Have you gone to their house in previous years? If so, did you take pictures? If you did, you could get one or some of the pictures framed and give that as a gift. If you didn't, take pictures this year for next year :)
It helps if you know how they celebrate other holidays such as Christmas. If they do, you could make them a few classy or theme-related ornaments for their tree. If they entertain a lot and use cloth napkins, you could make 4, 6, or 8 for them if you sew. Start thinking of how they live, what they seem to enjoy and create a personalized gift. Even a couple of throw pillows or napkins, ornaments, etc. with their monogram. Once you start thinking in this way, other ideas will likely appear.
Wreaths are usually popular and easy to make, not very expensive either. Definitely go for at least 1 holiday ahead if not more.
I go to Hobby Lobby and Kirklands for design thoughts. I love making wreaths. But I like what Betsy aid about the pictures and what Janet's idea of the ornments were. I also go to Estate Sales and look for unusal C hristmas ornments. I always buy or make nice napkins, or towels to give at Christmas time.
