Turn dollar store rag rugs into a fun Moroccan floor pouf! Stuff it with everything from old towels and scrap fabrics to recycled plastic bags and Poly-fil. For this and many more ideas, follow me on YouTube here: http://bit.ly/Ns4qgx
I used E-6000 FabriFuse to glue a lining to the rugs before I stitched them together. This helped keep them from fraying and to keep them very sturdy. You can find the link to the pattern here: http://www.markmontano.com/p/blog-page_27.html

I stenciled the top circle of the pouf with DecoArt Dazzling Metallics and used a heavy cotton for the glue-in lining.

Hi Art7434195, If you look above right under the video, & copy & paste the link into your Address bar it will take you to the pattern. I think that you could easily use a paint cloth or even an old sheet to glue your rugs to and accomplish the purpose. Look for a close weave for a sturdy fabric. I think that you could further reinforce your seams by putting the glue on the edges of the rugs after they are seamed.
This is the link that I copied to access the pattern.😀
This is a neat project. I have some small rugs that I intend to make pillows with. While this stool is really cute, I don't have the space for it.
